電影「悲慘世界」很好看，很感人。如果不是強制自己分散注意力的 話，真的要哭成淚人了，雖說其實也不是什麼丟臉的事，畢竟好片就 是好片。

網路上最近在瘋傳「Do you hear the people sing」這首歌，因為滿憤怒，滿煽情，滿切合當下人們的情緒。 但是看完影片，聽完最後一首歌：
「ALL:
Do you hear the people sing?
Lost in the valley of the night
It is the music of a people who are climbing to the light
For the wretched of the earth
There is a flame that never dies
Even the darkest nights will end and the sun will rise

They will live again in freedom in the garden of the lord
They will walk behind the ploughshare
They will put away the sword
The chain will be broken and all men will have their reward!

Will you join in our crusade?
Who will be strong and stand with me?
Somewhere beyond the barricade is there a world you long to see?
Do you hear the people sing?
Say, do you hear the distant drums?

Tomorrow comes!」

我才恍然大悟，「悲慘世界」之所以是名作的緣故，因為作者的心性 完全顯露出來，他沒有停留在「憤怒」跟「革命」當中，而是更向上 提高了一個層次，真正能改變這個世界的是「愛」，用中文說，就是 「慈悲」。作者給予苦難的人們留下了希望。所以「悲慘世界」其實 不悲慘，而應該是「悲憫」才對。

記得「轉法輪」裡有一句話說，「心性多高功多高，這是不變的真理 」，誠哉斯言。

只是，大家怎麼都忘記神父了啊？因為 jean Valjean的一切改變，都是因為神父。沒有神父，就沒有後來 的聖人 jean Valjean了。
